Arts Umbrella Golf Turnament

Held on June 24th at Point Grey Golf & Country Club, the Nicola Wealth Invitational to Benefit Arts Umbrella raised $250,000 in net proceeds, which will help deliver free-of-charge community programs across Metro Vancouver, support bursaries for struggling families, and grant scholarships for students who display excellence in their art.

Brook Pooni Associates was thrilled to be able to participate in the event and gift a TAGE Clothing line pocket square to each of the events attendees. TAGE Clothing is a not for profit line of high fashion pocket squares who's proceeds go towards supporting local Vancouver charities and community initiatives such as Arts Umbrella.

Art changes lives in incredible ways, building self-esteem, nurturing self-confidence, and providing critical creative outlets. Since 1979, Arts Umbrella has strived to be Canada’s leader in arts education for young people through our commitment to innovation, excellence and inclusivity in our Performing, Visual, and Media Arts programs.

This year, Arts Umbrella will serve more than 24,000 young people throughout Metro Vancouver, reaching 80% through bursaries, scholarships, and free community programs delivered in close to 40 neighborhood houses, community centres and more than 60 Metro Vancouver schools, all serving vulnerable families.
